  1. Billy · Builder

I'm always building something I can actually use.

  2. Usually it's another guitar or pedal, each one simpler than the last.

  3. Fewer parts, better parts, smaller builds.

  4. When it's not guitar stuff, I'm modding IKEA furniture around the house.

  1. Billy · Home cook

I can't cook a lot of things, but the few I do, I do really well.

  2. Pho is the big one. I've been tweaking my recipe since high school.

  3. When I have time, I make a huge pot and host pho night for friends.

  4. It lets me pretend I run a restaurant.

  1. Billy · Purple belt

I get stir crazy if I go too long without working out.

  2. So I built a squat rack into my garage. No waiting for equipment, ever.

  3. For cardio, there's jiu-jitsu.

  4. Getting strangled counts as cardio, right?

A felt workshop corner: a maroon guitar leans beside a wooden bench holding a lava lamp, a retro computer, a soldering station and a reel-to-reel tape deck.

A felt kitchen: a mint-green stove with a steaming pot, a cutting board of limes and herbs, and a pegboard of utensils under warm pendant light.

A felt home gym: a squat rack and red weight bench on a dark mat, a jiu jitsu gi hanging on the wall, and a leather medicine ball.

Most of what I build starts in this garage.

The rest is at the store. I'm out of oat milk anyway, so come along.
